About the speaker
Sergio Gomes. Psychoanalyst, Post-Doctor in Psychology (IPUSP), Doctor in Clinical Psychology (PUC-Rio), Director of the Nebulosa Marginal Institute and INM Publishing House, Sergio Gomes proposes a reflection on the ethical and theoretical shifts that have been straining the psychanalytic field in recent years.
The conference addresses the margin as a place of enunciation, troubling the eurocentric centrality of theory and clinic, recognizing the persistence of colonialism in the production of subjectives and affirming the black experience as an epistemological position capable of reconfiguring analytical listening.
An invitation to think of the clinic as an implicated, historically situated and politically conscious practice.
