The Goldsmiths Racialised Postgraduate Network (GRPN) is a society at Goldsmiths, University of London. The purpose of this society is to support racialised postgraduate students by creating a supportive space to work together, to listen and learn from one another, and to work towards making our institution a more inclusive space of belonging for students from non-dominant cultures and marginal backgrounds.
Considering global campaigns to decolonise curricula in higher education, we have taken the liberty of compiling a list of resources for individuals, students, and educators. We hope people will use this list to educate themselves and their communities of the brilliant ideas that come from the global south and of racialised people in the global north. We also hope that educators will take from this list key authors and scholars to be added to the key readings for their modules. How to use this list: As this list is a compilation of a resources from the members of the GRPN, we urge those who are interested in finding works on a particular subject to simply do a search (control / apple F), insert the key words to see which readings are relevant to your interest.
Please find below is a list of non-European / non-European descended scholars and their foundational works.
